song of the month: Everywhere - POLARIS
Been watching a fair bit of The Adventures of Pete & Pete lately, and this one immediately caught my ear. Waiting for October's also great, but unfortunately this song is a lot more personal/relatable lol. Good melancholy for sure.
For those uninitiated, Polaris is a one-off project commissioned by the creators of Pete & Pete. The original band, Miracle Legion, was reached out for the project, and if you look at the Spotify numbers today, you'll see Polaris has more monthly listeners than Miracle Legion. As for the show, it's definitely a product of the 90s, but that's definitely not a bad thing. Something I'd recommend to kids to keep that childlike wonder w/o the brainrot of today lol (being 24 jnow means i talk about "the good ole days" and how "things just aren't the same anymore).
